That New Blog Smell..

I love the smell of a newly configured installation of WordPress. Nothing beats a fresh database, choice set of plugins, and a clean design. With everything in place, we begin our journey into the realm of human thought and imagination. In the first post, it is important to cover a few basics.
mindfeed.org is written for people who desire to delve beyond common ideas to explore the realms of deeper thinking. The topics presented here at mindfeed.org are intentionally designed to stimulate thought, challenge assumptions, and question reality. As you read, I encourage you to think as critically as possible, but with an open mind..
Readers of mindfeed.org seek new ways of perceiving, thinking, and understanding. They thrive on unique perspectives and contrary opinions. They see differing views as opportunities to learn, change, and grow. New ideas and engaging dialogue are seen as inspiring, serving to enlighten those willing to listen and participate.
The mindfeed.org audience holds a continual fascination with controversial subjects and borderline topics. They use their experience, knowledge and wisdom to participate in open, rational debate in sincere, civilized fashion. Everyone has a right to express their opinion, insofar as they are willing also to listen to the opinions of others.
Thus, as we proceed into the future, let us open our minds as far as possible and consider new ideas and new ways of thinking with enthusiasm and compassion. After all, there are many people who think that they know everything, locked in perpetual defense-mode as they argue and fight with anyone who dares hold a different opinion.
Everyone has an agenda. Everyone has an opinion. Everyone thinks the universe revolves around them. We see it every day. People chatting about mindless fluff to keep the conversation from slipping into unfamiliar territory. Everyone needs more practice and experience with exploring the heavier side of life. Just imagine, a conversation at the office that didn’t make you want to jump out the window..
If you are seeking honest, sincere contemplation and discussion of topics involving perception, relativism, absolute truth, open-mindedness, paradox, doublespeak, hidden meaning, metaphysics, abstraction, and much more, welcome to mindfeed.org. If you are willing to open your mind to new ideas and alternate ways of seeing the world around you, I say again, welcome.
